D and Doris

People... I know this title is stupid but believe me... Kamie and I both know it could be much, much worse.

This was my contest entry for this mini con things at Suncoast.

Erm... I got 1st place. But Alli deserved it more. D and Doris' embrace looks alittle... strained? Forced? Not so cute and not quite so loving.

And green is CERTAINLY not the color of love. But I asked mom and this is the color she wanted me to use. So, eh. Works for me.

I have my own complaints. Like with Doris' face. And D's metal. And Doris' neck and shoulders. And... bleh! HATS ARE EVIL!

But yeah. When I drew this... I was going through a MAJOR Vampire Hunter D high.
And Doris is perfect for him~

I tried to make her hair true to the manga... but I colored it like in the movie. But wasn't she supposed to have dark hair? But then again, in that one colored drawing, her hair was orange in the highlights.

*shrugs*
